TUTORIAL: A pile of triangles nail art

I was looking at my little collection of stamping polishes, while trying to choose a few to create some other manicure, I decided to just pick some out and pile them all over each other and hope for the best. And OH BOY did it pay off! Just look at this amazing end result. Luckily I took photos of all the steps and now I can share it with you.

For this manicure you will need 2 similar patterns to stamp. One with a thick grid of patterns and one with a patter that has only sparse elements. I choose BM-606 and BP-14 plates. The base nail polish is Essence Wild white ways, the black stamping polish is Essence stamp me! black. The rest of the polishes I used are BPS Bright pink, Yellow, Lavender, Dark purple, also Ya qin an Orange and Neon pink. It is important that you choose all 100% opacity nail polishes for this look. I also used some fun gold studs to make one of the nails stand out.

Step 1: Apply white base. And than apply the 1st coat of stamps. I used the brighter colors, such as yellow, light pink and lavender. The best way to do this is to make a gradient with the colors you want on the stamping plate in the vague size of your nails. The scrape it off and apply it on your nails with the stamper.
Step 2: Apply another coat of the stamps over the 1st one. Again make the gradient but use the bolder colors of the bunch. I choose orange, neon pink and dark purple. The process is the same, only make sure that that pattern doesn't end up on the exact same spot as the 1st layer ended up.
Step 3: Apply another coat of the stamps in the same sequence as in Step 1.
Step 4: Repeat the same step as before while making sure that you cover as much of the white parts as you can.
Step 5: Apply the black tiny triangle stamps.
Step 6: Clean up! I didn't bother with clean up before this time. I also added the row of arrow shaped studs now to make the ring finger a bit more fancy.

I adore how this look turned out! It looks just like a nail art sticker without any of the fuss. I can't urge enough how fun stamping is - and once you mastered it you can make nail art that can fool others into believing you are wearing some fancy nail stickers.
