Moyou nails 400 stamping plate review

I have for you lovelies today another review of a stamping plate from the amazing online store Moyou nails. Their page features all types of stamping plates with all the classic patterns like animal prints, floral or in this case optical illusions & geometric patterns. But you can also get a great deal on single image plates and all types of stamping polishes for a very good price.

This is the 400 Optical illusion stamping plate. It features 11 full nail sized patters. The pattern sizes are 0,5 x 1,5 cm to 1,5 x 2 cm. The patterns are classic geometric shapes and there are a bunch of designs that look like optical illusions. The patterns are etched to perfection and are very easy to work with.

I want to offer some tips in this review on how to make fun nail art with stamping. The easiest and fastest way to do it is make a stamp gradient. It is also a lot less messy then doing a gradient base and than stamping over it. Needless to say you use up a lot less polish. The result is very similar and interesting just like the classic gradient + stamp manicure.

Here you can see how to do it. Just choose the pattern you like and apply the polishes you like. As you scrape them off they will form a gradient on their own. I recommend that you use a clear stamper so you can see where the lines of the gradient will land on the nail.

This is the finished nail art and I feel like it can double like a good gradient. All you need is a rainbow of stamping polishes. Or use a very bright nail polish as base, then use darker tones to make the gradient and it will work just as well.

For this manicure I used Jessica Vintage glam as base. The Moyou nails 400 plate and BPS stamping polishes no. 1, 16 and 6.
