The Holiday season is upon us. Here in Europe (where Thanksgiving is not a thing) Christmas decorations are everywhere. Therefore I got into the spirit and prepared a subtle nail art tutorial to slowly get you into the spirit of things :)
What you need for a manicure like this is a dark polish for base I used OPI Do you have this color in Stock-holm?. And I also used Matte Magic by China glaze as top coat so the contrast is stronger between the polish and the nail decoration. I got the he square glitters and the dark caviar beads from Bornpretty store. Don't forget a tool that will help you place the decoration. I used a normal dotting tool.
Step 2: Choose the part of the nail where you want the full gold flower. There apply 2 gold flat glitters on opposite parts of where the flower will be.
Step 3: Add 2 more glitters on each of the blank spaces that are left after applying the 1st two glitters. And then 2 more to finish the flower.
Step 4: If your nails feel empty add more gold glitters on the edges of the nails. But only add half the amount of glitters so the nails don't look to full.
Step 5: Feel free to create any amount of flowers on your nails. I didn't do all the nails the same since I felt it would look better if the patterns would be random.
Step 6: On each of the full flower (that is made of 6 glitters) add a gold flat stud. It is also a great way to hide any imperfections that can occur while placing the glitter.
Step 7: Add the black caviar beads in all the spots that still feel empty. I added them in all kinds of ways to show that there are a lot of different ways to apply them on top of a pattern such as this.
Here is the finished result and I think it looks spectacular! It is festive but still a bit dark which is how I like my nail art :)
