OOTD: I pity the fool with no chainz

Mr. T is my spirit animal! Plain and simple! He is just so cool I can't even take it, so angry, powerful and full of jewelry! So when I got my hands on this amazing sweater in Germany I knew I need to channel all the Mr.T I can with the clothes I have at home.

I only wish I had better hair skills so I could fashion myself a mohawk ... So I am rather hiding my hair under the hood.

In case you don't know who is Mr.T here is a classic picture of him! Now a days you just can't get away with a look like this and still be considered a bad ass :) He was part of the show called A-team that was a big hit in the 80ies :)

Here are a few items I used for this look. I didn't use that much jewelry since the clothes are embellished enough. The make up I used was Manhattan Mat effect Mat black for the eyeshadow base. Over it I added Catrice I am golden Sandy liquid eyeliner. For the lips I used Essence LE Piece of Forever gold lipstick.

The outfit is something I would wear out for coffee with a bit less bold eye make up :)

TNCC: Animals - Sexy Leopard

I love animals but this month I am just not feeling the theme for my monthly challenge :( So I did a sexy leopard print nails since it's still the month of love :)

I love how they turned out and the little paw nail stickers I got from the Cruella DeVille Kiss Villains collection are just perfect <3

For the base of the mani I used Zoya Chyna. The spots are made with Essence stamp me! Black and QA8 stamping plate. I painted the spots with Essence Juicy love

I love how you can always use the Zoya Pixie dusts for a pretty base polish if you only take the time to smooth it out with a lot of top coat :)

What do you think?

Pick n Mix Challenge: Orange, Red and Yellow

I wanted to do this gradient for quite some time. Yellow, Orange, Red and some Purple are so cool looking together. But whenever I saw it anywhere it was paired with some summer sunset artwork. I wanted to go in another way - Sci-fi abstract art. And I love how they turned out <3

For the gradient I used Models own Purple glare, OPI I just can't cope-acabana, Live.Love.Carnival, Where did Suzi's man-go?. The stamps are made with Essence Stamp me!black and MoYou London Sci-fi 06 stamping plate :)

DIY project: Stamp-o-holic earrings

With the new year starting and my blog getting more and more followers I decided to make newly themed posts here. As much as I love nail art I love working on a lot of other projects. So to ease you all in my new projects posts today's is DIY Earrings made with nail stamps :)

A while back I got 4 pairs of simple round mono-colored earrings for 1€ in a local Tedi store. As soon as I saw them I saw a great potential for them. So here on the bottom picture you can see them after I stamped them using Born pretty store stamping plates :) I think they look amazing! And you can make them any way you like! <3

Here is what you will need. Round mono-colored earrings, stamping plate, stamping polish (or any colored polish if your base color is white). I used Essence stamp me! black and QA81 stamping plate. And you will need a very squishy stamper. So when the picture is on the stamper you press the earring very strong on it so the entire surface is covered with the image.

I advise you to choose a big picture maybe one of those full plate images that are usually so tough to place on a nail. Since they are so big you have a guarantee that it will cover the entire earring.

Here is the result of my 1st attempt. I am quite happy how they turned out. A very simple pattern that always works. And don't forget to add a generous coat of top coat over the image so the earrings will be extra shiny and the pattern can't be erased. I used a classic Seche Vite fast dry top coat.

Here you can see the earrings when I wear them. I love how they pop and are appropriate for any occasion and fit a lot of my outfits. This is a very easy and fast way to decorate something more simple and make something cheap look more fancy. No need to stop at earrings, I bet this technique would work on any other jewelry as well :)

I hope you liked this post and find some inspiration in it. Please let me know what you think of posts like this? :)

Pick n Mix Challenge: Stained glass

When stained glass comes to mind people usually think of a rainbow of colors. But I wanted to make something dark and add the rainbow via holo. I used stamps that kind off remind me of the traditional stained glass patterns. I don't know if I am quite happy with the result, but they still look interesting. I used the stamping plate that actually features a stained glass :)

For this mani I used Color club Harp on it and Beyond as base. I also used the same polishes for the stamps. In between there is a layer of Maybelline Polka dots 197 glitter. The stamps are made with MoYou London Gothic 9 stamping plate.

TNCC: Animals - Pink Flamingos / Sunday stamping: Alter ego mani - something totally not me

I don't always like or use pink but when I do I use all the shades I got :) I have no clue why but the only pink thing on this planet that I like are flamingos. I saw some in ZOOs and they are just the sillyest things ever <3 So I decided to make a silly caged flamingo mani. I just layered all the feather, birdcage and flaming themed stamps I could find.

I don't know if I am quite happy with how they turned out - might just be that the color bothers me :)

The polishes I used for the mani are China glaze Not from this galaxy, Catrice Call me princess, Wrapped around my finger, Essence Stamp me! white and black. The stamping plates I used are MM14, BP-14, MoYou London Princess 4 and Alice 4.

BPS Review: BP-39 stamping plate

Today I have a BornPretty Store review for you all. They have launched their 2nd stamping plate collection and I got the chance to review a few. They are amazing quality, perfect etchings and the pictures pick up no problem. Also great job on the super cute new plate sleeves! <3

I love skulls so I had to get my claws on the BP-39 plate. I made a very simple design that displays the pattern and flashes some color. I wore these for the Carnival parties that were happening these days here :)

Here you can see the full plate and the new cute sleeves! BP-39 is available on their page just click on the link if you want a nice punk plate of your own :)

For the base of the mani I used Essence Stamp me!black. Over it I added Claire's Festive fun to make some glitter that pops under the stamps. For the white part I used Essence stamp me! white and for the colorful accent finger I mixed a bunch of Mundo De Unas polishes. I love how this turned out! <3

Pick n Mix challenge: Geometric

I have been obsessed with yellow recently a lot. And in combination with purple it looks amazing. Sometimes the picture in my head turns out exactly like I wanted it on my nails. I love the light in the middle gradient that makes the nails shine and full of dimension.

The entire mani looks like old 60ies wallpaper with a bit of sun damage. I love how these turned out!

For this mani I used Essence Wild white ways and the most perfect purple jelly Catrice Be my Violentine to make the gradient. The stamps are made with Mundo de Unas and Lily Anna 07 stamping plate.

I love this look so much! Remind me to do this middle ray of light gradient nails again soon ;)

V-day nails XOXO

This is the last post in this years V-day extravaganza. Can you tell I am in love more then ever this year? I did 5 different manis - and most of them pink! I am growing up :) I liked the others since they where either geeky or sexual but this one is just down right cute and cuddly :)

I wanted to make a galaxy type of base with purples and pinks, add red glitter and stamps. I love how it turned out! <3

For the mani I used Models own Purple glare, Essence Purple sugar, Sinful colors Wisp and Tevez 01 to make the base. The glitter is LA Girl Animate. The stamps are made with BM411, Essence Stamp me!black and Dashica Red.

I hope you are all having a fun V-day! Here it's gonna get crazy since it overlaps with Carnival <3

LoL mani: Heartseeker Vayne

Let the V-day geek nails extravaganza continue! I don't particularly like Vayne since she is the basic bitch of League of Legends. That means that a lot of people play her - thou her in game mechanics are nothing special. But her V-day skin is adorable so I decided to make some nails inspired by it.

Index finger is inspired by her socks, the others are inspired by the wings, hearts, arrows and bats that accompany her during a game. I like how it turned out thou I am not the biggest fan of the color pink. But in this time of the year you can't avoid it :)

Here is the picture of my inspiration - Heartseeker Vayne <3

For this mani I used LA Girl Love letters as base. The glitter is Golden Rose Jolly Jewels 109. The stripes are made with Essence Purple sugar and Dare it nude. The stamps are made with Essence Stamp me! black and Mundo de Unas Red. The stamping plates I used are MoYou London Biker 2, Rockstar 1 and CA-34.

My favorite Vayne in game quotes:
''The dark should fear me''

Pick n Mix challenge: Hearts - Sailor Venus

YAY hearts time - what is more appropriate then a Sailor Venus mani :) I relay like her design since she is the sailor scout of love but her colors are yellow, orange and blue. A very cool design. I tired to follow these colors. I added a few extra hearts on the accent nail and a huge heart on my index finger. The bows are my favorite part about her so I added them too.

Here is a pretty Sailor Venus gif so you can see what inspired me :)

For this mani I used Kiko Pineapple as base. The stamps are made with Catrice Orango bloom and Mundo de Unas polishes. The plates I used are MM31 and hehe014 and hehe013. The heart I got from Bornpretty store.

Here is my previous Sailor Venus mani.

Sunday Stamping: Valentines Day

In this time of the year a lot of nail and make up art features crazy cutesy art. But I wanted to make some sexy art. Thou this year with my luck everyone is doing that also since the 50 shades hype. And I am not a fan of it at all. So I went a bit of my own way - a sexy little gradient and some lace ;)

For this mani I used Essence Dare it nude, p2 Fever and Catrice I wear my sunglasses at night to make the gradient. The lace is made with MoYou London Bridal 6 and Essence Stamp me! white. On the accent finger I added a big red rhinestone heart from Bornpretty store

I wish you all a sexy V-day :)

LoL mani: Twisted Fate Jack of Hearts

Let the cheesy V-day manis continue! Recently romance and cards became one and the same thing for me. I always loved a good Alice in Wonderland, card faces and magic combo and this Twisted Fate champion from League of Legends has it all. Thou I don't like playing him since I ma no good with his game mechanics that require you to pick the right card I still enjoy his design <3

I managed to get my claws on the new Misslyn polish full of hearts and my BFF Miss Hysteria *show her some love* got me the amazing new Alice MoYou London plates so everything I love came together in one mani :)

Here is a picture of my inspiration <3

Twisted Fate Jack of Hearts
For this mani I used Essence Wild white ways, Catrice Rockby and Femme fatale Mana ruby as base. Over them all I added a generous coat of Misslyn Mon Amour. The stamps are made with QA56 and MoYou London Alice 4 stamping plates. The polishes I used are Essence stamp me!white and black and Dasica Red.

Here is a swatch of Misslyn Mon Amour. I placed some of the hearts and some came out with a bit of fishing. And I just adore the little red glitters that are in the mix. Thou I think they are just fallen off red flakies of the red hearts :)

Some classic Twisted Fate skills from one of the cinematic trailers for the game. Am I the only one who thinks that card magic tricks are the coolest thing ever? :)

My favorite Twisted Fate in game quotes:
''Cheater is just another word for winner.''

Pick n Mix challenge: Pale blue - Sailor Mercury

When I saw the theme Pale blue my mind immediately went to Sailor Mercury. She is cool being the brains of the team but I don't swoon over her like most of the sailor scouts. I wanted to use some dimensional blue glitter polish and some stamps that look like waves and OFC some bubble like rhinestones to give the entire mani a 'watery' feel.

The base is Kleancolor Blue eyed girl. The stamps are made with Kiko Sky blue and Mundo de Unas. The plates I used are hehe013 and 014, MoYou Comics 05.

Here is a cute Sailor Mercury gif so you can see a bit of my inspiration :)

Here are my previous Sailor Mercury nails.
