Catrice Rocking royals swatches

Since I just did a post about how Catrice is my favorite brand - let me put my money where my mouth is :) You guys know I am no good at swatching but for an amazing collection like this I will try my best.

These are the Rocking royals polishes that are described as textured and filled with glitter pigments on their page - which is kind off true :) Before we go to the swatches note the epic crown design on the bottles!!!
On to the swatches!!!

A lovely group photo of the collection - you can see that it's separated in two groups

Royal blood is a suede type of denim blue polish. A mix of silver and blue particles - that give an matte bright blue sheen. This is a thick one coat of it.

Ex pistols is a bright mix of silver and gold particles. That create a sandy suede effect that create a light gold sheen. This is a one coat with no top coat.

Emerald queen has the same formula as the previous two. It's a mossy green mixed with silver particles that, creates a matt sheen. This is a thick one coat with no top coat.

Royal blood is perfect vampy dark red, that dries matte, it's a jelly type of red not a suede like the rest so far. This are two thick coats with no top coat.

Here is Pink punk a dirty matte fuchsia. It's a jelly type of polish that dries matte and not with a suede effect. This are two coats of it with no top coat.

The 3 suede matts have bit of a metallic character in them so you have to be careful when you apply them or you will get streaky lines. But since they are all one coaters you can use them for stamping :) I made some crown stamps with them over a black base. YAY for Catrice for finally entering the stamping race :)

The entire collection is made of matts so I added Seche vite top coat to them all. And this is how they look with a shiny top coat. The metallic suede gets another dimension, an incredible linear shine that is one step before becoming holographic. The other two mattes finally become relay great jellies <3

I am relay happy with this collection. Thou they are not textured as said in the promo. And 2 of them don't have any shimmer or glitter in them they are still amazing jellies. And the suedes are great for stamping. I am so in love with this collection I got some extras for you all and I will make them part of my up coming Catrice giveaway! :)

Here is the lovely promo picture :) And click the top link to see the other products in this collection.

33DC: Day 17 Your favorite brand - CATRICE

AHH Catrice I love you in equal measure to my hate - the hate stemming from  my wallet because I need to have all the polish that you make!!! And the biggest reason are the Limited editions that they make. The themes, the artwork, the colors everything is amazing!!! So here is my mani with only Catrice products from some of my favorite LE from them. I will also add some of the promo art so you guys can see what I mean
Also later today I will post swatches of their latest collection Rocking royals :)

Because I am so in love with this brand I decided to make a small giveaway soon that will consist of only LE Catrice polishes so stay tuned :)

The only non-Catrice thing are the BM 316 stamping plates :)

From L to R: Doris' Darling, Allure, Bloomynous and The calm all <3 How amazing are these bottles? :)

I ended up liking the original art more then the stamping art <3 So here are the pretty original pictures :)

33DC: Day 16 South America

When I think of South American continent I think of sugar skulls and Day of the dead in many rainbow colors. And I just got the thing for it - Cheeky stamping plate Viva Mexico :)

I am in love with this look - because it's a perfect combination of all the happy colors of the rainbow combined with the dark motive of skulls <3

The base is Color club Harp on it. On the pinkie finger I used Essence stamp me!black. On the others I tried to make a gradient *and failed* with Barry M Passion fruit, Catrice Hugo moss, Kleancolor Neon purple and Ruby kisses Regaled out blue. All done with the cheeky Viva Mexico stamping plate :)

Sunday stamping: Halloween

I had a great zombie hands look prepared but I lost the pictures *shakes her fists angry at the sky* But the other day I got an amazing nail mail full of Femme fatale polishes and I got so inspired by the base polish  named Wolfsbane I had to do this look - that I think counts as a Halloween look :)

So the base is Femme fatale Wolfsbane which is a lovely dark blue jelly packed with holographic moons and hex glitters of 2 sizes that turn blue due to the jelly base. There are also some smaller red hex glitters. So very pretty <3 I got so inspired by the little moons inside I had to stamp some more with BM316 and HD04, with Essie Blue rhapsody. I added skulls because well bane never means anything good and it seemed Halloween-ish to me :)

And here are the swatches of Wolfsbane. This is 1 coat of it over Essence Boy next door. The application was not problematic at all. The polish is packed with a lot of glitters and moons :)

Kilox Lacquers review

I got these amazing kiloX lacquers for review - this is their Rescue collection. All I can say is AMAZING!!! Since most of the indies are either chunky glitter combos or holos these are subtle but unique colors and glitters, that fit the fall trends :)

So get ready for a swatch - a - ton of a life time :) And let me say this - I <3 the package :) It reminds me so much of the Matrix - everything including the logo looks so futuristic <3

Here is a lovely group foto - from L to R: Sienna, Kilo, Saintly Bernard, Zulu, Tango
The formula was great not to thick or to runny and easy to apply. The drying time was also very fast - not a problematic polish at all.

My usual favorites are the golds, so let's begin with the lovely Sienna. It's a 2 coat dark gold/bronze metallic polish with light gold small hex glitter. On the picture you can see 2 coats of Sienna with top coat.

Accent finger: Essence stamp me!black and Barry M Gold foil, BM316

Next it's my favorite of the the collection named Kilo. It's black base polish with the most unique glitter I have ever seen!!! It's matte silver glitter that shifts into flakie silver, to holo silver to linear green and blue. One word: AMAZING! This is 2 coats with top coat.

Accent finger: Konad white, HD03

Here I added some matte top coat because some flakies turn stronger when they are matted - here it did not make that much of a difference when it comes to glitter :)

Saintly Bernard is also an unexpected favorite of mine. It is a perfect chocolate metallic brown. It has small silver holographic glitter and small red glitter. Thou the red glitter is more prominent in the bottle then on the nail. The polish is still amazingly delicious :) This is 2 coats with top coat.

Accent finger: Color club Gingerbread man, Cheeky Viva Mexico

Zulu is another of my big favorites in this collection! I am a sucker for unusually shaped glitter. They did settle a bit on the bottom of the bottle - but with a bit of shaking I got them all on the nail. Here the formula is a bit sheer so I used Essence The boy next door as base and over it I added 2 coats of Zulu. It consists of a foggy type of  pastel blue, with light almost neon blue rhombus glitters and micro dark blue hex glitters.
To make the single nail swatch I needed to make 3 thick coats.

Accent finger: Barry M Silver foil, BMH13

The last but not least is Tango *love the name*. It's a light metallic green polish with glass gold glitters and dark green micro glitters that almost seem invisible, unless the light is hitting them right. As a base I used Essence the green and the grunge then I added 2 coats of Tango because this is not a very opaque polish. To make the single nail swatch I needed to make 3 thick coats.

Accent finger: Kiko Lawn green

This is an amazing fall line of subtle indies for everyone. Please don't forget to check out their page kilox.org or thier FB page FBkiloxlacquers :)

Essence/Catrice Slovenian blogger event part 1

Let me start this post by saying I LOVE YOU ESSENCE & CATRICE!!! You guys are the best! They organised the 1st ever beauty blogger event in Slovenia - so eat your heart out big USA brands :)

The Event was organised in a classy G hotel, where they were waiting for us with snacks and drinks *I do like the drinks*. Then we had a short presentation about both brands, filled with how they choose their inspiration, how they make trends, how they develop Limited editions and they target groups. I love marketing talk - if it was possible I would just jump into their delivery van and start working for their marketing/art design department *winks at Essence/Catrice owner that she wishes they would be reading this* :)

After it they let us frolic around and try out and take all the products we like. They gave us huge beautiful bags to fill them up. Ahh and I forgot to tell you the entire Lounge place was filled with Essence and Catrice stands, even some of the past Limited edition stuff.

Also we were lucky enough to get a sneak peak of the up coming Trend edition named Happy holidays. Here is a picture of what will be waiting for us in the store.

I got these 2 products from the stand :)

And here are the swag bags and a few of my favorite items I got :)

Finally I got some gel nails sets - time to go pro :)

Yeah official notebooks and folders :)

And here are the cutest cupcakes that were awaiting us :) And the epic flower decorations that where everywhere and filled with products.

And because I am so in love with Essence I decided to pick up some swag for you all. So this will be in my new giveaway I will make available soon. Its full of limited edition stuff and fall trends colors. Also it features a polish from the up coming Essence Happy holidays :)  Stay tuned :)

All I can say is Essence and Catrice you have a loyal costumer for life! Not only that you have addictive Limited editions you are not as expansive as most brands. The people that work for you are so nice and friendly, everyone on the event was amazing.

But because I was so in love with all the products I forgot to take some pretty pictures of the stuff we where offered so here are the links to the other bloggers that where there and not as drunk on polish as me :)

XOXO
